I have been betting on the internet or at brick and mortar gambling dens for a lot of years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even see it until you are beaten. Specifically if you are on a run. I have been through countless hundreds of dollars in a very short period of time and even still on occasion, I sometimes go a bit too far. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself up till you make a choice to contemplate your loss and the anguish settles in, and of course you continue advising yourself "I can likely earn it back" repeatedly. It does not work. Then you feel sick to your gut and the harder you attempt the quicker you throw away.
When you observe that you are ahead, Remain Ahead! When you start to fritter away, don’t convince yourself, "well only one more" a number of times, believe in me, this tactic almost never ever functions. Say you are playing on slots, keep a figure separate before beginning your betting. DO NOT exceed that range, no matter how tempting. If you happen to earn, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your winnings no matter what. Once you have played through your initial determine limit, stop. Back off, whether it’s on the web or at a brick and mortar gambling hall, do not stay at the tables or machines. At all times remember, there no doubt will be other days, other times. Obviously, this process is able to work for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, blackjack or any other game.
Remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not demanding, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you cannot pay for the losses, don’t ever start.
