If you like to have a cocktail every once in a while, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Pack only the money you intend to spend on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You could have a win following a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and wager. These activities just don’t go well together.
Leaving your money at home might be a bit drastic, but precautionary actions for drastic actions is necessary. If you bet to win, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to burn your money nary a worry, then consume all the complimentary beer your stomach can handle, but don’t take plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head loses everything!
Let me to carry this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the web to bet in your best-liked internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my house, but because I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink and wager.
How come? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s certainly enough to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
