If you like to have a beverage occasionally, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your billfold, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Grab whatever cash you intend to spend on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a profit following a boozy night out with your comrades and be blessed enough to hook a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and bet. The pair simply do not mix.
